This perfectly aligns with my pivot from a marketing career to what I’m doing now. After the podcast I was on, I realized I needed to offer more than books. Finding out what that is can be difficult. I like to call it “slow marketing” or “passive visibility” because you aren’t trying to show up everywhere and be seen by everyone. You just need to show up for your specific audience.

This was a very good topic! Thanks for sharing Mike!

This is a golden reframe for all of us in our third act, Mike. It combines creativity and connection, and is right up my alley in my own Substack. Looking forward to all you have to offer.

Thanks Mike, I enjoyed your presentation very much. I don't know much about Substack but have an interest in starting a couple of newsletters. The first having to do with regional art news (stories of interest, highlight an artist and art show schedules) as well as one dealing with healthy aging (I'll turn 80 years of age in June). Just wanted to reach out and say thanks for sharing your wisdom.

Thank you for the kind feedback, Michael. Both your newslettersb sound of interest. I also see from your bio that we share something in common. AWAI. Terrific resource of 'how to' courses for writers.

Holy mackerel! This short message is the transformation I’ve been needing and didn’t know it! I hated not being able to join you live but grabbed the replay as soon as I could and now I can’t wait to send you my bio and learn from you how to claim what you’ve described so well in this presentation. I wish you could see how much I was nodding my head in recognition. I DO have a lot to offer. I DON’T like the feeling of being sucked into a constant treadmill of deadlines and content creation. I now see (and thank you for addressing it) that stepping into the Wisdom Economy can look different for each of us and it doesn’t have to be just consulting. I’m getting ready to send you my bio and then I’m going to bed and let all this exciting mindset shift simmer overnight. Thank you, Mike, from the bottom of my heart.

If I scheduled the appointment correctly, we have a "wisdom call" scheduled for 6:00 pm central time today. If that's correct, what do I need to do? Will I receive an email with a link from you or is it a zoom call? I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to do?

Yes, Michael. You should have received an email from my Google Calendar confirming our call. Here is the link to go to our call on Google Meet. No Google account is required.

Hello Mike,

I would appreciate your advice on starting on Substack verses creating a blog. To say I'm "tech challenged" would be a grand understatement. I've had this thought for some time of creating a "blog" dealing with aging and life lessons learned along the way... which I'd like to call "4th Quarter Reflections". What I would appreciate your advice on is should it be a "blog" or would a Substack site be a better choice? Since you have knowledge of both (with your copywriting experience), I thought you'd be the perfect person to ask. Thanking you in advance, Michael (Mike) Patrick
